IMHC COVID-19 Office Policies
During this time of concern over coronavirus, we want to let you know that we are here to help. We are available for appointments, and taking necessary and appropriate precautions to help protect everyone's health and safety. We know that this is a stressful time, and we are committed to approaching this situation with wisdom, compassion, and conscientiousness.
Telemedicine Appointments
Many of our patients and clients have the option of doing appointments by phone or video. Some of our consultations can still be done in person, if your provider feels that an in-person visit is important or necessary for you, or if you are receiving a hands-on service such as IV therapy, acupuncture, or craniosacral therapy. If you plan to come to the office, we do have certain safety criteria for in-person visits, during this time of increased caution.
Safety Criteria for In-Person Appointments
For anyone planning to attend an in-person visit while coronavirus is an active concern, we will require the following:
- Masks are no longer required for our patients or staff, but are optional for those who wish to wear one.
- If you have a fever of 99.5F or higher, we will switch to a phone or video appointment instead of proceeding in person.
- For anyone who already has a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please call ahead to switch to a phone or video appointment instead of attending in person.
- Anyone who has recently been in close contact with someone who has a fever, cough, or shortness of breath will also be required to do a phone or video session instead of attending in person.
- Anyone who has recently traveled to areas where coronavirus is severe will be required to do a phone or video session instead of attending in person.
We Are Committed to Your Health & Safety
We are taking extra precautions to maintain sanitation, including increased vigilance with hand-washing, sanitizing our work stations several times per day, and frequently cleaning surfaces such as our front door and other areas of our workplace.
We believe that our patients and clients are some of the best-informed people around. You know how to take charge of your health, how to take good quality supplements that help to improve immune balance, and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Many of our patients and our staff are choosing to take extra vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc, probiotics, oil of oregano, and other supplements to support a healthy immune system. We are here to help, so please reach out if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to support you during this time.
With Care,
Your IMHC Team
